Beetroot, Carrot, Orange & Turmeric Juice

Makes 2 glasses (serves 2)

Ingredients
1 large carrot, chopped

2 raw beetroot, peeled and chopped

1 cucumber, peeled

2 oranges, peeled and segmented

thumb-size piece ginger, chopped

½ TB ground turmeric

 

To Make

Chop the carrots and beetroot in small enough pieces that it won’t damage your juicer. Place the vegetables, along with the peeled cucumber, orange segments and ginger into a juicer.

Whisk in the ground turmeric and serve chilled.

* Do not discard your pulp. It is a great source of fibre. Freeze it in batches and add to vegetarian stews or soups.
